NFL Flag Football League
2013 League Information
Note to parents: The NFL Flag Football League is a 7-on-7 recreational league that serves as the introduction to team-play football in the younger age group or is a skill-builder for older children. Flag football is a different type of football than Pop Warner because scores and standings are not kept, and blocking and tackling are prohibited. Emphasis is placed on basic skill development, fundamental team play, equitable playing time and the insistence on creating a fun, accepting atmosphere. This league is not intended to serve as off-season training camp for Pop Warner coaches and established teams. Parents are asked to help create a positive environment by applauding the accomplishments of all participants and teams.
